Ebenezer Methodist Church had a homecoming in the community called Hamburg. I received two invitations to attend and decided to take those two folks up on the invite. After a decently long drive into the country, then down some dirt roads, I arrived. Yes, it was a lovely old church. The service was not unusual – “Church in the Wildwood” and “God Be With You Til We Meet Again” were the hymns of choice. Afterward, I walked around the cemetery and wondered about all the lives represented on those headstones. I’m glad I went. I’m going to let the pictures speak for themselves.
